LACQ was founded by people who know this industry from the inside - a seasoned nail supply manufacturer and one of the largest Texas distributors. We didn't start with technology. We started with the problem.
LACQ was born from frustration - the kind that only comes from living the problem for decades. Founders Anh Tran and Mindy Tran spent years watching a $47 billion industry run on handwritten orders, cash payments, 2-hour supply runs, and manual inventory counts that were always wrong.
Anh Tran built manufacturing operations that supply nail products across the country. Mindy Tran established one of Dallas, Texas's largest nail supply distribution businesses, serving customers across Texas and beyond. Together, they saw the same broken system from both ends - and decided to fix it with the one thing the industry had never had: visual intelligence.
LACQ isn't a Silicon Valley bet on a market segment. It's a community rebuilding its own infrastructure - with the tools that were never there before.
Deep experience in nail product manufacturing - understanding quality control, supply reliability, and what factories actually need.
Operating one of Texas's largest nail supply distributors means knowing every pain point: inventory chaos, delivery inefficiency, salon owner frustrations.
8,000+ products in catalog before a single line of software was written. LACQ is built on real relationships, not investor pitch decks.
Our vision models are trained on real nail product data - gel bottles, acrylic containers, tools. Not generic warehouse software adapted to fit.
"We're digitizing the beauty supply chain - because we've lived every broken part of it, from the factory floor to the warehouse to the salon chair."
- Anh Tran & Mindy Tran, Co-Founders of LACQ
Before the app launched. Before the pitch deck. These are real numbers from real relationships.
We're starting where we know the market best - Texas. But the playbook scales to every market in the US, and eventually beyond borders.
Industry veterans who decided the tools didn't exist, so they built them.
Anh Tran established nail product manufacturing operations that supply salons across the United States. She built the quality control processes, supplier relationships, and production standards that CALIBR now automates at scale. Her deep expertise in factory operations, product formulation, and supply chain logistics is the foundation LACQ's manufacturing intelligence is built on.
Mindy Tran established one of Dallas, Texas's largest nail supply distribution businesses - building direct relationships with thousands of salon owners across Texas and beyond. She knows every pain point in the supply chain from the distributor's side: the inventory chaos, the missed deliveries, the manual processes. That firsthand knowledge drives every decision behind TRADQ and TRAKK.
